Behold the deliciousness of the Prince track “Da Bourgeoisie.”
The track was unofficially released online through the 3rdeyegirl twitter account on November 18, 2013. The download link has since been deleted.
In “Da Bourgeoisie” Prince croons about a lover leaving him for a woman. The lyrics chastise her for being dishonest about her intentions and sexuality. He then expresses his disappointment and anger after being deceived.
The lyrics include statements like;
“I see you’re undercover like a C.I.A…. I guess a man is only good for a rainy day, I got the receipt baby…but where’s the guarantee, I forgot-you’re fake as a Christmas tree, & I wish I never kissed your lips bearded lady.”
Some say the track was about Vanity but only the songwriter really knows. Regardless, the track is still way too funky to ignore!
